## About

Competition Headwear is the operating name of Marner, Inc., a family-owned baseball cap manufacturer at 6748 East 44th Avenue in Denver, Colorado. Larry Polner has owned and operated the company since July 1992. We cut the fabric, sew the cap, and run the embroidery and patch decoration in our own building on roughly 200 embroidery heads — up to about 4,000 caps a day.

What sets the work apart: we embroider the flat panel before the cap is assembled, so the logo lands clean and registered. Most caps sold in the U.S. promotional and trades market are imported overseas and only decorated stateside. Competition Headwear is one of the few manufacturers where the cap itself is produced domestically — eligible for Berry Amendment federal contracts, free of import-tariff exposure, and verifiable via country-of-origin affidavits pulled on request.
